Burglars alarmed and flee empty handed
Richard Parr Burglars fled empty-handed after their break-in of an amusement arcade on Wells quayside set off a loud alarm system.Two people forced the rear door of the Pop Inn Leisure amusement arcade shortly before 2am today and caused extensive damage to a cashier's office.

Burglars fled empty-handed after their break-in of an amusement arcade on Wells quayside set off a loud alarm system.
Two people forced the rear door of the Pop Inn Leisure amusement arcade shortly before 2am today and caused extensive damage to a cashier's office.
Police said the arcade had a very loud alarm system which forced the offenders to flee the scene empty-handed.

A small hatchback vehicle and three men were seen in the area at the time of the attempted burglary and they made off shortly after the alarm sounded.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the offence or has information in relation to the offender or the vehicle.
