Fakenham charity First Focus has received a £3,300 cash boost, thanks to their local branch of building society The Nottingham.
The information and advice centre, which was set up in 2002, supports thousands of vulnerable and disabled people and their carers in the Fakenham area by offering advice, running clubs and support groups and organising social events.
It was one of nine good causes across the country to receive Grants for Good awards totalling £32,000 from The Nottingham.
Fakenham assistant branch manager Claire Brown presented the cheque to First Focus staff members April Simnor and Clarissa Belson, who said the cash would be used to help the charity continue their work with job centres and colleges to provide unemployed people with online training courses, life skills, job applications and CV writing.
