The chairman of the Talking Times is focused on making sure a £500 donation by the Fakenham Ukes keeps the service running for the people who need it.
The chairman of a talking newspaper is hoping a generous donation will secure the future of the service.
Dave Siseman chairs the Fakenham Talking Times, a charity which creates weekly audio newspapers to support blind or partially sighted people.
A £500 donation was made by The Ukes, a mid Norfolk ukulele band, using money earned from playing gigs.
Mr Siseman said: "This money gives us a safety net. The aim is longevity. It will go into the pot and we will keep running for as long as we can."
The paper uses articles from the Fakenham and Wells Times and community magazines, before being delivered to around 70 people.
Ukes' Band leader, Graham Thomas, said: "The Talking Times is a well known local charity which has been in our fund raising sight for a while now."
