The new addition to the Times' reporting team said his arrival at the Fakenham office has marked something of a homecoming.
Chris Hill was born in Norwich but lived and worked in Fakenham for eight years before training as a journalist in Newcastle.
The 33-year-old is a keen musician with an interest in history and the outdoors, and has worked for the Eastern Daily Press for two years - including the last 12 months based in King's Lynn.
He replaces Richard Parr, who has moved to the Times's Dereham office.
Chris said: “It's really good to be back in town, and I'm looking forward to getting out there and hearing from anyone who has a story to tell in Fakenham or Wells.”
Chris can be contacted at the Fakenham office on 01328 862678 or by email at chris.hill@archant.co.uk
