Four people had to be rescued after becoming stranded on salt marshes off the coast.
Wells and Hunstanton Coastguard Rescue Teams were called just before 10pm on Sunday (September 1) evening and responded to reports of a group cut off on the salt marshes at Holkham.
The four people were located and the coastguard teams assisted as they waded through the water to safety.
Several warnings have been issued in recent months over the dangers of misjudging the tide along the Norfolk coast.
Last month, after a spate of dramatic rescue operations, Sheringham coastguard manager Jerry Woodley highlighted the importance of planning ahead and raising the alarm as soon as possible when problems arise.
