Kick Start Fakenham has organising a packed programme of events for 2017 starting with a drinks festival next month and culminating in the Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Fakenham Gin & Beerfest takes place on March 24 to 26 at Fakenham Community Centre. This is followed by the Easter Sunday Funday on 16th April 16 with town centre cycle racing, a 5k run and a 1k Fun Run with optional fancy dress. As well as this there will be food and stalls including massage, smoothie bikes and much more.
The Get Active in Fakenham Week runs from August 19 to 27 with around 50 different activities, finishing with the popular cycle ride.
The Christmas lights will be switched on on December 2.
Lisa Mallett said, “It’s full steam ahead. We hope this year will be the best yet and that the town will get behind the programme.”
