Firefighters were called “as a precaution” to a malt producers near Fakenham.
Six appliances from Dereham, Earlham, and Fakenham responded to the call out at the Crisp Malting Group premises on Sunday, January 28.
The incident, off Fakenham Road, Great Ryburgh, was described as “insignificant” by a company spokesperson and the call was made “as a precaution”.
An aerial ladder platform from Earlham attended the fire. The crews used hose reel jets and hand appliances to extinguish. A thermal image camera was also used to check for hot spots.
