A decision over the future of a town car park will be made today.

Highfields Road car park in Fakenham could be sold and developed into housing for the over 55s.

But officers from North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) are recommending the land remains a car park and £75,000 is invested into the site.

A decision by the authority, which has its headquarters in Cromer, on the car park is due to be made on Monday October 30.

The council held an online survey this summer on residents’ views over the car park and potential development of the site.
