Archant

The British Heart Foundation shop in Fakenham raised more than £190 during its annual ‘Ramp up the Red’ campaign.

There was a street collection and children’s entertainer on Thursday last week and, on Friday, the shop, on Miller’s Walk, had a cake stall and was decorated in red.

A total £191.59 was raised.

Seven hundred British Heart Foundation shops throughout the UK took part in the campaign.

Fakenham shop manager Sue Brown said: “We raised a lot more money than in previous years so I would like to thank everyone who supported us.”

People can now pay £1 to put a ‘love note’ in a heart in the window of Fakenham’s British Heart Foundation Shop.

Messages to loved ones or people who have passed away can be made until Monday.
