A north Norfolk market is celebrating its fifth year ahead of opening its doors next month.

Fakenham Makers’ Market has been held at the town’s parish church almost every month since March 2015.

Entirely devoted to handmade arts and crafts, the market is due to start up again on Saturday April 13.

Co-organiser Debbie Osborn said: “We’ve been able to develop a real mix of genuinely high-quality handmade arts and crafts thanks to our lovely exhibitors and we can’t wait for April’s market so we can introduce even more makers to our visitors.

“We have a great market with several of our longstanding stall-holders attending, as well as a great range of new artists and makers. Handmade refreshments will be served and we also hope to have live acoustic background music during the event.”

The market will continue to support Fakenham’s Barnardo’s Helpers Group, and has raised more than £1,000 over the last four years.

Entry is free.
