Students from the Fakenham Academy have been given the opportunity to learn about one of Norfolk’s most well-known firms during a special visit.

The 15 students learnt about insurance company Aviva while visiting their Norwich office and they were told about the different job roles and career paths available.

The students were also given a personalised tour of the company’s archive building, known as Marble Hall.

Joanne Stone, from Fakenham Academy, said: “We all had a wonderful, insightful time and can’t thank Aviva enough for their generosity and well prepared and structured input and presentations.

“Our students learned so much and all benefitted hugely. Taking part in such a prestigious visit will certainly have increased their knowledge and improved their self-esteem.”

The success of the event has meant another visit is being planned for 2018.
