Ghosts defender Alex, 21, will be taking part in the Brighton Marathon, on April 21.
The UEA physical education student, who lives in Olivia Close, Fakenham, said he would be running for a cause which was close to his heart, after his grandfather was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
“This will be my first marathon,” he said. “I did the Norwich Half Marathon a few weeks ago, the conditions were horrible, but I did OK.”
Alex is in training on the roads around Fakenham. The former Fakenham High pupil has so far raised £100 towards his £450 target. Click here to donate via his justgiving page.
