Fun, music and magic was enjoyed in Fakenham during a ukulele cabaret night.
After a summer of playing charity gigs at various venues, the Fakenham Ukes put on their own show at The Gallow, at Fakenham Sports Centre, on Saturday October 6.
A hundred people were entertained not only by the band but with the magic of Steve Knight and harp performer Alan Heath.
A cheese and wine supper was also put on by a team from The Gallow.
A spokesperson for the event said: “As well as the lively sing-a-long, the Ukes, who filled the venue with a very professional set of ukulele playing and singing, all gelled together by well-worked fun and humour.”
The Fakenham Ukes also demonstrated its fundraising efforts when band leader Graham Thomas presented a cheque for £500 to John Cunningham of children’s charity Rebecca’s Wishes.
