The family of 24-year-old Bradley Raper, who died after being involved in a car accident near Thetford, are raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance in his memory.
Mr Raper lived in Scarning, near Dereham and died after being involved in a collision near the entrance to the Shadwell Estate on the A1066.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the accident, which happened on Tuesday October 2, and took Mr Raper to hospital.
Mr Raper’s auntie, Sara Greentree, said: “It is a thank you from us, it’s a really worthy cause.
“Marc Jordan, Bradley’s sister’s partner, decided to do it with Sallie’s (Bradley’s mother) co-operation.
“You never know when the air ambulance is going to be needed.”
The JustGiving page set up by Mr Jordan says: “Brad’s mum, sister, girlfriend and family are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the East Anglian Air Ambulance in the name of Brad who we all loved so much and still do.
“Bradley was tragically taken from us all on October 3 after a car accident, East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene and got Brad to a specialist hospital in the fastest time possible.
“During the trip and upon arrival he received the best care available and we are all so thankful for that, sadly it did not save Brad but it gave him more of a chance and the service continues to save and preserve lives on a daily basis.
“We hope that through fundraising the service will go on to save many more lives and you never know who will need them next.”
Since its launch in 2000, the East Anglian Air Ambulance has attended over 23,000 lifesaving missions.
