Firefighters were called to a field to put out a stack fire, which remained burning overnight.
Crews from Wells, Fakenham, and Holt attended to the blaze following a call out at about 11.17pm yesterday.
The fire was still burning at 9am today and the area off Crabbe Road, Wighton, had been cordoned off.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze, between Fakenham and Wells, was “significantly smaller” in the morning than it had been overnight.
All crews left the scene at 7.30am today.
