Fakenham and District Light Operatic Society
These archive images offer a valuable insight into the history of theatre in Fakenham.
With the oldest picture taken in 1974, they show how theatre in the town has developed over the years and display many of the different productions that different theatre groups, such as Fakenham and District Light Operatic Society, have put on.
This includes Half A Sixpence, based on the 1905 novel Kipps by H. G. Wells with music and lyrics by David Heneker and book by Beverley Cross, as well as 1950s inspired Grease.
They also show old nativity pictures from years gone by, along with other popular productions such as The Wizard of Oz.
