A man has been arrested after he was found by police slumped over the steering wheel of his car, at nearly twice the legal alcohol limit.

King’s Lynn Police reported they found the man at 8.40am today (Saturday) in Syderstone, near Fakenham.

The police tweeted: “Drink driver arrested 08:40 after being found slumped at the steering wheel in his car in Syderstone. Nearly twice the legal limit at this time in the morning! #DontDrinkAndDrive”.

The legal alcohol limit for drivers is 80 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath or 107 milligrammes per 100 millilitres of urine.
