FAKENHAM and District Light Operatic Society is well into rehearsals for its next production Annie and the town community centre is alive with the sounds of adults and teams of children perfecting songs and dance routines. Even the dog is word perfect!
However the group is now short of two vital male roles to complete the cast.
Producer Jackie Overton said: “We have searched high and low, called all the men we can think of, and as time is marching on we are now appealing for YOUR help! The two roles are Bert Healey, the wacky US radio personality who has his own radio programme in the show. He has his own song to sing as well so it's a small but vital role. We also need a man to take the smaller role of Cabinet member Henry Morganthau.”
If you can help or know someone whom you feel fits the bill call Jackie on 01263 821665 or 07708 650899.
Annie runs from May 12-16 and Fadlos rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Fakenham Community Centre.
