Officers from the Fakenham neighbourhood policing team are working with their colleagues in Hunstanton in a month-long pilot scheme to address complaints of anti-social behaviour

Officers will travel on the buses and ensure seatbelts are worn and safety advice is heeded.

PCSO Jo Robotham said: “The scheme aims to promote safety on the bus and encourage young people to take responsibility for their safety and behaviour.

“The scheme also provides us with the opportunity to engage with local young people.”

At the end of the pilot scheme, bus drivers and customers will be asked whether they think it has reduced any difficulties and improved bus safety.
