A road near Walsingham will be closed for eight weeks while essential work is carried out to repair and strengthen the bridge.The Fakenham Road south of Little Walsingham will be closed at the crossing over the River Stiffkey, known as Garden Keepers' Bridge, after the work begins on Monday.
A road near Walsingham will be closed for eight weeks while essential work is carried out to repair and strengthen the bridge.
The Fakenham Road south of Little Walsingham will be closed at the crossing over the River Stiffkey, known as Garden Keepers' Bridge, after the work begins on Monday.
Vehicles will be diverted via the B1105 Wells Road and Egmere Road, while pedestrians will be diverted via Ford Road and Barsham Road.
The �100,000 project will be carried out for Norfolk County Council by May Gurney under the Norfolk Planning and Transportation Partnership.
A county council spokesman apologised for any inconvenience caused by the work.
