The search is on to find the girl who will become this year's Wells Carnival Queen.
The Carnival Queen dance is being held on June 6 at The Maltings in Wells starting at 8pm for 8.30pm.
There will be music and a bar and all girls entering the competition have to be aged 17 or over.
The girl chosen to be the Carrnival Queen will receive £125 and a free hairdressing appointment and have their make and nails done.
The lucky girl selected will need to be available on June 7, August 3 and 9 and any other necessary dates.
