• 10cm in Brundall

Mr Holley said although not official recordings, the depths - which were gave an indication.

He said: “It’s probably of a similar magnitude to January 2013. I think it was pretty much expected, a couple of days ago the models were suggesting it would be a lot worse today. I know a lot of people where thought the worst was over.”

He said the snow was expected to continue until lunchtime, but that freezing temperatures would continue, reaching -10C in some areas.
