Two days of roadworks are set to take place in Hempton this month, with a section of the carriageway on the A1065 Raynham Road undergoing repair work.
The resurfacing will begin on Thursday, November 16 and will extend from the junction with Hempton Green Road through to the junction with Pond Road.
In an effort to avoid any major disruptions, the work will be carried out between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm. During those hours there will be temporary traffic lights and a convoy system in operation.
Norfolk County Council said that access to businesses and properties will still be possible but some disruption will be inevitable.
The council further confirmed that the work will cost £50,000 and be carried out by its community and environmental services department and contractors.
Information about roadworks is available on the County Council website.
