Michael McAneny, at 29 one of the country's new breed of exciting organist entertainers, played a varied programme which included the Maple Leaf Rag, an orchestral arrangement of The Sleeping Beauty Waltz and a fast version of Nola.
The show raised funds for the Copeman Centre from the sale of refreshments and the raffle (�158.50) and also �55.20 was raised for the East Anglian air ambulance. The happy audience members also bombarded Carol with loose change at the end of the show for her lifeboat collecting box.
Next month's show is on Friday May 29, starting at 7.30pm, and it will feature another larger-than-life character and organ maestro, Phil Tempest. Tickets are already selling well so to book call Carol on 01263 860844.
