Tanya Eldridge has years of experience taking walking tours around the Abruzzo region of Italy but for the next few months she plans to lead ramblers around the north Norfolk coast as she explores the region herself.
Based at Deepdale Backpackers in Burnham Deepdale, she will be offering guided walks which she hopes will help some explore the area for the first time and possibly introduce those who live in Norfolk to new paths and byways.
She said: “The countryside of the north Norfolk coast is distinctly different to the Abruzzo area because Abruzzo is mountainous.
“I was attracted to Deepdale because of the eco friendly nature of the facilities and the awards they've won.
“Their ethos is one I connect with and the customers will love the guided walks I'm offering.
