Norfolk and Waveney is set to feel a lot warmer this week with some places seeing highs of 27C.

The high temperatures are due to a north south split across the country with cool air in the north and warm air in the south.

There will be highs of 24C tomorrow with a muggy night into Wednesday when temperatures are likely to peak for the week.

A forecaster or Norwich-based Weatherquest said: “On Wednesday it is staying dry with long spells of sunshine in the morning and then it will turn very warm but turning a little cloudier during the afternoon.

“There with be a slight south westerly wind that will increase to moderate later with highs reaching 25C to 27C.

“Looking ahead to Thursday it will be cloudy at first with some patchy rain the north but most places will stay dry with cloud clearing to leave a dry and sunny afternoon but it will feel fresher. There will be a light to moderate northerly wind with maximum temperatures of 19C.”

The Met Office has warned of very high pollen levels this week with East Anglia being one of the worst affected areas in the country.
