Temporary closure at Wells library
Chris Hill Wells library will be closed for a week to undergo refurbishment and layout improvements which begin this weekend. The Station Road building will close from 1pm tomorrow and reopen at 2pm on Monday, February 8.

Wells library will be closed for a week to undergo refurbishment and layout improvements which begin this weekend.
The Station Road building will close from 1pm tomorrow and reopen at 2pm on Monday, February 8.
Along with refurbishment work, two self-service machines will be installed which will allow customers to issue and return borrowed items themselves. When the library reopens, staff will be on hand to guide visitors through the changes.

A Norfolk County Council spokesman apologised for any inconvenience caused by the work.
Books can be borrowed, renewed or returned at any Norfolk County Council library, with the closest alternatives to Wells located in Fakenham, Holt and Hunstanton.
