Funding for a set of four-bay nets paid dividends for Fakenham Cricket Club over the last season.
They have helped develop young players to county and senior standards and enabled girls to have coaching separate from the boys. They are also available to schools.
The Norfolk Youth Fund contributed £13,910, the Norfolk Rural Community Fund £7,000, the Lord's Taverners £2,675; Sport Relief £2,110 and North Norfolk District Council £500.
With four bays it was possible to concentrate on smaller groups, and coaching took place in them virtually all-season because of their all-weather suface
