Fakenham’s Reserves ran out 2-0 winners away at Norwich CEYMS Reserves as they look to secure promotion to Anglian Combination Division Two.

Dan Payne and Callum Brain were the scorers of the Fakenham goals. This weekend, a trip to Redgate Rangers is in store, with a victory all but securing promotion.

The Ghosts are currently in second place, nine points clear of closest challengers Brandon Town, who have just four games left to play. They are only one point behind leaders Gayton, having played one more gamne, so the title is still very much in their sights.

Meanwhile a limited number of seats on the Ghosts’ coach to Carrow Road for the Norfolk Senior Cup final are still available.

Priced at £5 each, the coach will leave Clipbush Park at 6pm on May 22. Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis, from the clubhouse on senior matchdays.
