THIS was the Seasiders' fifth draw in seven league games, against the newly-promoted and Anglian Combination Division One leaders.
Both sides searched for an early breakthrough but both defences were in complete control. The visitors found the net in their first real attack but were ruled offside.
Wells took complete control and started to create chances, but solid defending by Wanderers kept the score level at the interval.
The second period started with Wells kicking into the wind, and again several chances went begging.
Fifth-bottom Wells have won one and lost one of their other two league matches. They travel to mid-table Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves on Saturday (kick-off 2pm).
Wells Reserves host Watton Reserves on Saturday at Beach Road (kick-off 2.30pm).
