Charity cheque at finals night

Fakenham and District Ladies' Darts League finals night at the Press Social Club started with Gwen Pierce presenting a cheque for £330 to Lois Smith on behalf of the ladies for their chosen charity, The Willow Foundation.

Trophies were presented by league chairperson Jenny Williamson.

League Division One winners Fakenham Press, runners-up Conservative Club; Division Two winners Hempton Bell, runners-up Wells Club B; Division One cup winners Fakenham Press, runners-up Fakenham Star; Division Two cup winners Wells Club A, runners-up Wells Club B.

President's Cup winners Ark Royal, runners-up Melton Club A; Charity Challenge winners Hempton Bell, runners-up Wells Club B; Captains' Cup winner S Buckley (Bell), runner-up M Hall (Townshend Club).

Best performances: Division One Chris Robb (Press), Carol Robb (Press), M Hall (Townshend Club), J Walden (Star); Division Two D Newstead (Bell), highest kill Division One V Clay (Star) 113; Division Two S Buckley (Bell) 112, 180, D Newstead (Bell); Wooden Spoon Wells Club A.
