It has been an outstanding year so far for the PE department at Fakenham High School.
The Year 7 rugby team has won the Emerging Schools County Cup. This means that the school have won four county competitions since November.
The boys were magnificent from the beginning and conceded only one try in 84 minutes of rugby.
The toughest group game was against KES, where they won by one try to nil.
After winning all their games in the second pool round they had to play KES in the final. This time after a few nervous moments the lads scored four tries to make it 4-1.
Thanks went to William Hepworth-Smith, from Fakenham Rugby Club, who helped coach the boys on
the day.
They now play in the regional final.
