IN the Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League, Thetford Athletic remain top of Division One as a result of a narrow 3-2 home win over Shipdham.

Saham Toney are up to third after beating Bridgham United 8-3 and Mulbarton Wanderers also move above North Elmham into fourth spot after beating them 3-0.

Yaxham won 4-2 at Hingham Athletic and Dereham Town A won only their second league match of the season in beating Gressenhall 4-3.

Thetford Rovers Reserves increased their lead in Division Three to five points as a result of their 2-1 home win over Sporle and because Bawdeswell were well beaten 6-1 at home by Wendling.

West End are up to third after netting three without reply against Foulsham Reserves and Bradenham Wanderers Reserves stay fourth despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Shropham United.

Swanton Morley won 3-2 at Great Cressingham and bottom team Shipdham Reserves took a welcome point from a 2-2 home draw with Gressenhall Reserves.

In Division Four, Hethersett Athletic maintained their 100pc record with a 5-0 home win over Castle Acre Swifts and Hindolveston stay second after beating Fakenham Town A 3-0. Third-placed Colkirk lost 8-2 to Northwold SSC.
