It was never going to be a match of great entertainment, as both sides were safe in the league and could only leap-frog each other.

On Saturday, Wells Veterans take on a Select Veterans team at Beach Road at 3pm. There will be a barbecue and raffle, with all funds going to Colin Rutland, who is recovering from a broken leg.
