Following the Senior England International trials held last weekend at Norgren BC in Shipston-on-Stour, two Fakenham bowlers, Jamie Chestney and Mervyn King (both Hunstanton players) have been selected to represent England in the British Isles Championships to be held at Belmont BC in Belfast on June 27 and 28.
Following the Senior England International trials held last weekend at Norgren BC in Shipston-on-Stour, two Fakenham bowlers, Jamie Chestney and Mervyn King (both Hunstanton players) have been selected to represent England in the British Isles Championships to be held at Belmont BC in Belfast on June 27 and 28.
John Ottaway (Wymondham Dell) joins them with. Darren Rowsell (Acle St Edmunds) selected as reserve.
It will be Ottaway's 25th successive international series. Chestney has also been selected in the Junior International team to play in the Junior British Isles Championships at Rock Park BC, Llandrindod Wells on September 5 and 6.
