EVERGREENS started strongly in this Martin & Acock League Division Two game, playing attractive hockey, creating several chances, and deservedly took the lead when Ellie Lynn scored her first goal in only her second game for team.

Evergreens continued to look the better side and were unlucky not to increase their lead. Against the run of play Old Buckenham scored a breakaway goal from their first meaningful attack to leave the score 1-1 at half-time.

In the second half Old Buckenham made positional changes in an effort to unsettle Evergreens' defence but they continued to have the upper hand and took the lead when Annie McCourt was in the right place to force the ball home.

Victory was secured when Trudi Moulton scored following a short corner.

This was a well deserved win for Evergreens from a impressive team performance. Special praise went to Nicola Moulton and Hannah Stephen, who had excellent games.
