Evergreens made the journey to Lowestoft hoping to regain their pre-Christmas form, after picking up just one point from their last three games.
The visitors started lethargically and allowed Lowestoft to create an early chance which required keeper Su Hoogendyk to make a precision save with her stick at the near post.
This was a wake-up call to Evergreens, who started to create chances of their own. Amy Weight made a real impact on the right wing, finding space and creating plays with her quick thinking and accurate passing.
Just before half-time Evergreens were awarded a short corner. Hannah Mitchell injected the ball to Jess Shand at the top of the D, who then weaved through the Lowestoft defence and tucked the ball into the corner of the goal.
Lowestoft came out strongly in the second half, but organised defending from Abi White, Sam Turner and Tracy Topping prevented them from getting back into the game.
Evergreens increased their lead when Shand ran the ball all the way to the back line before pulling it back to Weight to calmly slot home. Two minutes later, Chantelle Baker passed to Harriet Segasby, who fed the ball to Naomi Holl, who ran into the area and finished off the move.
Shand was alert again and ran the ball from a quick free hit on the half way line beating several defenders, before cutting into the D and pulling the ball back to the penalty spot where Segasby slotted home.
A minute from time, Hannah Mitchell made another of her storming runs down the right and fired the ball across the goal to find Katie Sammacicci on the far post to sweep the ball home.
Evergreens play Dereham III at home this Saturday.
