THE day looked promising for Fakenham as they had 22 players turn up to play. But as the game settled, West Norfolk picked gaps in Fakenham's defence and exposed them to score a try five after five minutes.

Although Fakenham had an eager set of young players, West's experienced scrum set the platform and mainly played mauls and rucks. Fakenham battled hard but struggled against an experienced pack.

Every player that went on for Fakenham put their heart into this game and displayed passion against a well-set team, but experience against youth won the day.

Fakenham's young winger Leigh Barker played a brilliant game and was awarded with man of the match.

With the youth from Fakenham setting their mark on the pitch, watch this space as they aim high in their future to bring in the points.
