Fakenham continued their successful season, as the second team beat Broadland mixed side by four matches to nil.
The first two matches were both hardfought games as Jono Lynn, making his first appearance of the season, came back from losing the first leg to record a 3-1 victory. On the other court Steve Horn was made to work, as his opponent was one of Norfolk’s up and coming young players, with the Fakenham player just coming out on top.
The last two matches saw Fakenham’s Sam Lanham open up a 2-0 lead before he won 3-1 and the final game of the night saw a rare start for Nick Fairbrother in a Fakenham shirt as he also managed a 3-1 victory. The result leaves Fakenham second in Division Four.
