Fakenham Town Football Club have announced a new sponsorship deal with Fakenham based company VANshop.co.uk.

Director Kevin Owen presented the new team strip before Saturday’s home game with Team Bury and said: “We are extremely proud to be associated with Fakenham Town Football Club as its new first team sponsor.

“We are pleased to support our local club.”

Kevin and his fellow director Steve Askew are former players at Fakenham Town and were keen to support the club.

Fakenham Town chairman Geoff Saunders was equally pleased to welcome the sponsorship: “Both Kevin and Steve were very positive when we initially spoke, and I’m delighted to have such a forward thinking, local company on board with us,” he said.
