FAKENHAM Town could close the gap on fourth placed Brightlingsea Regent in the Thurlow Nunn First Division this Saturday – if their match in Essex goes ahead.
The Ghosts, who like most clubs were without a game on Saturday as their home fixture against Team Bury fell victim to the weather, currently stand one place and four points behind Brightlingsea.
Further heavy rain could put some fixtures this weekend in doubt, but the Ghosts will be hoping for a repeat of their 2-1 win against the Essex side in August.
