Heavy rain forced Fakenham and Hillington off the Highfield Lawn pitch at the first attempt to decide one of Norfolk's oldest limited-over competitions, first won by Hindringham in 1936.

Hillington made 119-8 (Mark Jarvis 29, Andrew Cooper 27 not out, Stephen Earle 3-15) and Fakenham's reply had reached 56-1 in the 11th of their 20 overs (Brian Whitwood 34 not out) when rain intervened.
