Beating Lincoln's Danny Brown and world No 2 Mark Royal, from Stowmarket, Chestney, who came in at the last minute as a substitute for clubmate Mervyn King, slipped up against Ireland's Jonathan Ross at the group stage, but gained revenge on Ross in the final, winning, 3-7, 8-4, 2-0.
Chestney, 23, is also one of three Norfolk players invited to join the national under-25 team for the home international series in Ballymoney in Northern Ireland on January 9 and 10.
While Chestney, a senior international since 2006, was an automatic choice to skip a rink, new caps have been handed to Acle's Lewis Moore, and Wayne Willgress, who plays for the Norfolk club in Norwich.
