Gallow Bowls Club suffer double disappointment
It was a week of poor results for Gallow.
The Gallow Mens A Team travelled to Lynn Sport and needed points urgently to climb off the bottom of the league, but lost one point to six, 58 shots to 91.
D Webb, J Wells, J Cason, R Mason won 21-13. R Preston, K Humphrey, A Walton, S King lost 15-26. D Hood, D Cawthorne, D Taney, M Starkey lost 14-18.
G Wright, R Morgan, D Vaughan, M Riches lost 8-34.
The Gallow friendly team played away against Pinewood. Pinewood fielded a strong team and Gallow lost 74 shots to 120.
M Morter, E Graves, P Lloyd drew 18-18. T Barraclough, I Lambert, J Adams lost13-14. V Dickinson,C Dewing, B Dickinson lost 9-19. J Beevis, B Goff, M Hubbard lost 16-26. H Dewson, A Loft, D Dewson lost 8-19. R Thody, J Barraclough, D Thody lost 10-24.
n The weather has caused cancellations in the Afternoon and Evening League, and also Competitions and Australian Pairs.
