THE Gallow Men's A team have, for the second week in succession, beaten a top team.With several players not available the reserve players did very well and the Gallow team won 5-2, 81 shots to 71 against Acle.

The team will again be without Mervyn King, who has been playing in the Welsh Open and is now in Australia for three weeks with the Commonwealth team.

The Gallow Ladies B team played Dereham Ladies at home in the league and won 7-1, 64 shots to 40.
