Fakenham crashed to a heavy defeat at lowly Stowmarket in the Ridgeons League First Division on Saturday.

The Ghosts were full of confidence following their 2-1 midweek League Cup win at Thetford, but it was Stowmarket who started strongly.

After having a goal disallowed early on, Stowmarket scored on 15 minutes with a tap-in after Toby Harris fumbled a shot.

Stowmarket added their second on 55 minutes, soon followed by their third five minutes later.

Two more goals were added in the final five minutes.
