Youth and junior rugby for boys and girls is growing at Fakenham.

There is keen interest from players as young as seven among an expanding group of youngsters which number 50 to 60. They can progress all the way through to senior rugby at Eastern Counties Division One or Merit Table standard for men or the Fakenham Foxes ladies' team.

The latest young group to take centre stage is the U15 girls who tested themselves at the weekend against a combined team from Swaffham, Holt, Wymondham and Norwich.

They lost 45-12 but came back from 35-0 at half-time to take the second half 12-10.

Any young player interested in the sport can contact Clive Dew, one of the Fakenham coaches, on 01328 851028.
