Wells Town Reserves 3, Poringland Wanderers Reserves 1
With Wells Town inactive at the weekend the focus fell on Wells Town Reserves’ match against Poringland Wanderers Reserves.
Both sides started well as they searched for a breakthrough.
Harrison scored a first-half hat-trick to place the Seasiders in the driving seat.
The visitors started the second half a lot sharper than Wells and created several chances but hey scored only a very late consolation goal.
Wells Town, still top of Anglian Combination Division One, travel to Holt United on Saturday, 2pm ko.
Bradenham Wanderers did them a favour last week, beating second-placed Long Stratton by the only goal of the game at Bradenham.
