In 2002-2003 Hindringham Football Club reached senior club level, which for a village team was some achievement, but 15 years on their status hangs in the balance.

Last season the club managed to win on the last day to stay up and now they must do it again on Saturday when they play Mundford at the Elms (2.30pm).

If Hindringham win they will stay up while a draw or even a defeat might be enough. The other key game sees Dersingham playing host to Scole at the same time and providing Hindringham match or better Dersingham’s result they will be safe.

All support would be welcome. The bar will be open and there will be a barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting and a raffle.

Last Saturday Hindringham welcomed Bungay, who were a very good side and were just too good on the day, winning 2-0 with two penalties. Hindringham drew 2-2 with promoted Bradenham the previous Tuesday (own goal, Ryan Vertigan).
