Brandon Tn 2, Hindringham 3

Hindringham’s match at bottom of the league Brandon in Anglian Combination Division One was one of only four games to go ahead in the entire league.

Without manager Vertigan, Coslett stepped up to take control, while Broughton and Franks returned to the starting line-up.

Playing a side who are fighting for their lives, Hindringham did not make things easy for themselves, with some poor defending from the whole side, allowing Brandon to go two up. Hindringham offered very little in a poor first half display.

The second half saw a totally different Hindringham side, who wanted to fight and battle for each other. Straight from the restart, Coslett was brought down in the box, and up stepped Forge to start the comeback, with his ninth goal of the season.

Hindringham continued to press the Brandon defence and Broughton unleashed an unstoppable 30 yarder into the top corner to make the score 2-2.

Broughton then scored the winner, a bullet header after a great cross from Forge.

This week Hindringham are at home to Stalham, 2.30pm kick off.
